The water cycle describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth. The water cycle involves the exchange of energy, which leads to temperature changes. This book examines the use of available remote sensing satellite data as well as data from future missions that can be used to expand knowledge in quantifying the spatial and temporal variations in the terrestrial water cycle.
